ColorRanging in color from light to medium brown, sometimes they are light gray or dark brown or gray. The brown recluse's body is vaguely violin shaped.
Habitat: Brown recluse spiders build irregular shaped webs in basements, crawl spaces, closets, and garages.
Life Cycle Adult brown recluse spiders can live one to two years. Every year the females lay several egg sacs. There are about fifty eggs in each sac.
Type Of Damage Remember to shake out your clothing, if it's been in storage or the sheets in your guest bedroom. A brown recluse spider may be residing in your clothing or sheets. The brown recluse spider is not aggressive. They tend to only bite when trapped.
